Description:  Dr. Stephen Sherry is Head of the Sequence Enhancements Program and Chief of the Reference Collections Section (Information Engineering Branch) at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in Bethesda, MD. His research focuses on the architecture of population genetic information and how it relates to modern notions of privacy. Dr. Sherry will be presenting on the development dbGaP access for read data stored in Google and Amazon using Fusera.
