Description:  The Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) is pleased to announce its second NIH Scientific Interest Group (SIG) on Sex and Gender in Health and Disease (SGHD). The purpose of SGHD group is to explore the influences of sex (as a biological variable) and gender (as a social construct) on health and disease across the lifespan.
