Annual Lecture:  Other
Title:  Microscopy resources for NIH: Commercial programs for image processing
Description:  Special session of the LMIG seminar:
SUMMARY 1: Image-Pro is a powerful and customizable imaging platform driven by over 30 years of user feedback, the new Image-Pro Premier offers native 64-bit support, a user friendly interface and a suite of 2D measurement solutions. It allows researchers to easily capture, process, count, classify, measure, and share. We aspire to work with researchers to develop new apps and modules for Image-Pro that will improve workflows for analysis and speed up the interpretation of imaging results.
In addition to Image-Pro, we also provide AutoQuant, the preferred deconvolution software on the market. AutoQuant X3, is the most complete deconvolution software package of 2D and 3D restoration algorithms available. AutoQuant X3 makes it simple to deconvolve image sets and visualize them in time, Z, and channel, and analyze all parameters within the same, easy to use application. We also recently introduced our Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) module for AutoQuant, significantly decreasing the time it takes to deconvolve image sets.
SUMMARY 2: The arivis software suite (Vision4D, InViewR, and WebView) provides a wide variety of Flexible, Extensible, and Scalable solutions for images of unlimited size. The core of arivis software runs on any hardware and provides a hub for creative imaging science workflows, across networks, that produce well-tuned analysis results and spectacular distillations/publications of complex imagery.
