Title:  The National Veterinary Scholars Symposium
 
Description:  The National Veterinary Scholars Symposium (NVSS) is the premier annual scientific event which showcases research accomplishments by veterinary medical students completing summer research internships. This year's symposium will be held at the NIH Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday and Saturday August 4-5, 2017. The major themes of the symposium will be Neuroscience, Global Health, Conservation Medicine, and Comparative Oncology. 8 plenary invited speakers, 4 student poster sessions, a Professional Student Development Session, and learn about training opportunities at the National Institutes of Health.
