Description:  As malaria devastated American troops in the early years of World War II, the U.S. government mounted an all-out hunt to find a cure. The research was fraught with medical and ethical challenges. Public health journalist Karen Masterson will share her experiences learning about the incredible history behind malaria vaccine research during the 20th century. FREE! Open to the public. No RSVP required.
