Description:  Dr. Crotty has made fundamental contributions to the study of vaccine responses, including studies that helped define factors contributing to vaccine effectiveness including establishing that follicular T helper cells are a distinct type of differentiated CD4 T cell uniquely specialized in B cell help. He will speak on T follicular helper cells (Tfh) and their control of B cell responses in the context of vaccines and infections.
