Title:  A Reverse Phenotyping Cohort for the Intramural Research Program
 
Description:  Dr Biesecker's research involves the study of patients with multiple anomalies to identify new genes associated with their conditions. Through the ClinSeq project, he works from genomic sequence in large numbers of healthy and disease affected patients to identify rare and common genomic variation that contributes to disease susceptibility. His lecture Thursday will discuss reverse phenotyping in a DIR cohort and the implications of gene first methodologies.
