Title:  As One: The Autism Project
Description:  The National Institute of Mental Health and Office of Autism Research Coordination are pleased to invite you to attend our annual special event to recognize National Autism Awareness Month. We will be hosting a screening of the documentary film As One: The Autism Project, which was commissioned by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorder. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the film director, Ms. Hana Makki, and Ms. Sharifa Yateem, a behavioral therapist who worked with the children and families featured in the film.
