Title:  NIH Library - NIH Big Read - The Gene: An Intimate History by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee - Lecture
Description:  The NIH Library and the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences(FAES)are pleased to present "The NIH Big Read." The program will feature a series of book discussions and training sessions about the selected book to be held at NIH in March-April. The NIH Big Read series will culminate in a special final event featuring a lecture by the book author of on April 17.
The 2017 NIH Big Read book is, "The Gene: An Intimate History" (2016) by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, the Pulitzer Prize-winning, best-selling author of "The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer"(2010). A Meet and Greet with Dr. Mukherjee on the FAES Terrace will follow the presentation.
