Title:  Introduction To Multimedia Accessibility
Description:  Federal agencies produce, procures and manage a variety of multimedia. These multimedia products are used to provide valuable training and are used to disseminate key information about Federal agencies and their mission. As the demand for using multimedia increases, it has become more critical that IT is made Section 508-conformant so that Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities have equal access to the information. This training will show individuals how to create accessible multimedia that contains synchronized captioning, video descriptions, and talking navigation DVD menus. Individuals will also discover that by making the multimedia presentation accessible, they will enhance the ability for persons with or without disabilities to interact with the multimedia.

People who are involved in the management, creation, testing or approval of video and multimedia, such as DVDs, and online multimedia presentation should attend this training.
