Title:  NIH STEP Forum: Nuts-and-Bolts of Community Engagement in Research
 
Description:  How can researchers involve communities in their studies for better overall planning of research and dissemination of research results?
Join us as we look at the Nuts-and-Bolts of Community Engagement in Research.

The forum is inspired by the NIH Director's Council of Public Representatives' (COPR)recommendation on community-engaged research and geared toward extramural and intramural research, program, and outreach staff. The agenda also includes an overview of community-engaged research, presentations of COPR recommendations, case studies of best practices and practical applications of principles referenced in the COPR recommendations, and open panel discussion.
